Hello! I’m Julie Wheaton, your hostess at the Blue Ridge Crafters Retreat.  I began scrapbooking about 11 years ago and discovered stamping soon after.  I love all types of paper crafting, sewing and other sorts of creative endeavors.  It had been a dream of mine for several years to open a scrapbooking retreat house and when this house around the corner from ours became available, we snapped it up!

Besides scrapbooking, I also love decorating, cooking and entertaining.  This has been a wonderful way to combine all my passions and share them with others!  My 10 year old daughter told me I am so lucky because I get to make new friends every weekend...and she’s right!

My family moved from Massachusetts to Virginia in 2004.  My husband Ken and I have six beautiful children, five rough and tumble boys ages 13 to 1 and one princess age 11.
