From Floyd: Take route 221 West for ~12 miles to Willis. When you reach Willis take a right turn onto Firehouse Rd. Follow Firehouse Rd. 2.5 miles. After the road becomes gravel, take the next left onto Rivendell Rd. Blue Ridge Creative Retreat is one-half mile on the left.

From Hillsville: Take route 221 East for ~17 miles to Willis. When you reach Willis take a left turn onto Firehouse Rd. Follow Firehouse Rd. 2.5 miles. After the road becomes gravel, take the next left onto Rivendell Rd. Blue Ridge Creative Retreat is one-half mile on the left.

From Roanoke: Go onto interstate 581 North to interstate 81 South. Follow interstate 81 South for ~29 miles. Take exit 114 onto route 8 South which is a left off of the ramp. Follow route 8 South for ~15 miles to the center of Floyd. At the light in the center of town take a right onto route 221 West and follow it for ~11 miles to Willis. When you reach Willis take a right turn onto Firehouse Rd. Follow Firehouse Rd. 2.5 miles. After the road becomes gravel, take the next left onto Rivendell Rd. Blue Ridge Creative Retreat is one-half mile on the left.

From Arlington: Merge onto ARLINGTON BLVD / US-50 W via the ramp on the LEFT (~6 miles). Merge onto I-495 N / CAPITAL BELTWAY toward I-66 / ROCKVILLE (~1 miles). Merge onto I-66 W via EXIT 49C on the LEFT toward VIENNA / FRONT ROYAL (~66 miles). Merge onto I-81 S via EXIT 1A on the LEFT toward ROANOKE(~187 miles). Take exit 114 onto route 8 South which is a left off of the ramp. Follow route 8 South for ~15 miles to the center of Floyd. From Richmond: Merge onto I-64 W via EXIT 79 toward POWHITE PKWY / CHARLOTTESVILLE. (~99 miles) Merge onto I-81 S via the exit on the LEFT toward LEXINGTON / ROANOKE. (~107 miles) Take exit 114 onto route 8 South which is a left off of the ramp. Follow route 8 South for ~15 miles to the center of Floyd. At the light in the center of town take a right onto route 221 West and follow it for ~11 miles to Willis. When you reach Willis take a right turn onto Firehouse Rd. Follow Firehouse Rd. 2.5 miles.
