Alcohol: I do not serve or provide alcohol, but you may bring your own. Drunkenness or driving under the influence will not be tolerated.
Cancellations: Requests for refunds will be honored up to 15 calendar days prior to the event less the non-refundable $75.00 deposit. No refunds will be given within 15 days of the event. Requests for refunds must be in writing - email is recommended. Requests should contain the following information: Name, address, phone number and weekend of your stay. There will be no exceptions.
You may send someone in your place if you are unable to attend and no penalties will apply. Contact us if you will be transferring your reservation to someone else.
In over 3 years of business I have never had to cancel a weekend retreat. However, should I have to cancel due to any unforeseen circumstances I will transfer your registration to another date or refund the entire fee. Refunds will not be given due to weather conditions, dates will be rescheduled at my discretion. No refunds will be given after you check in.
Cell Phones: Many cell phones do not get good reception in the mountains. Generally Verizon and US Cellular work well. You may give your loved ones the house number 540-789-2545 if they need to contact you. (Please note: this is not my business number.)
Check-In – Check-Out: Check-in and check-out times must be strictly adhered to. Please do not arrive early for the weekend, as we will not be able to accommodate you until check-in time. We ask that all supplies and gear be packed and out of the cropping area by the check-out time.
Our check-in time is 3:00 Friday and check-out is 3:00 Sunday unless other arrangements are made in advance.
Children: I love children, but our retreats are for ladies 18 years of age or older. The only exception is for our mother-daughter weekends. Thanks!
Craft Studio: Our craft studio will be available to you 24 hours a day for your entire stay!
Deposits: A $75.00 non-refundable deposit is due with your registration. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover. Personal checks and money orders are also welcome. A $25.00 fee will be charged for returned checks. We require that your weekend be paid in full one month prior to your stay.
I will hold a registration as pending on my calendar for up to 4 days while I wait to receive your payment. After 4 days the date will return to available.
Privacy Policy: Blue Ridge Creative Retreat respects your privacy. We do not sell, rent, loan or transfer any personal information regarding our customers to any unrelated third parties. Any information you give us about yourself is held with the utmost care and security and will not be used in ways to which you have not consented.
